An Improved Charting Scheme to Monitor the Process Mean Using Two Supplementary Variables

چکیده
A control chart is the most well-known statistical monitoring tecnique to address unfavourable process parameter (s) changes. Quality practitioners always desire a charting device that promptly identifies undesired changes in process. This study intends design sensitive homogeneously weighted moving average using two supplementary variables (hereafter, TAHWMA). The are correlated with variable form of regression estimator, which an efficient and unbiased estimator for mean. suggested TAHWMA structure checked out compared terms appearance non-appearance multicollinearity amidst additional variables. Average run length-related measures taken as performance measures. It observed proposed scheme performs effectively when have no collinearity. comprehensive comparison between existing charts also carried out, showing proposed’s supremacy over counterparts. For execution purposes, illustrative examples, one belonging carbon fibre manufacturing-related data other simulated dataset where our belongs symmetrical distribution, presented application recommended chart.
